Jennifer stays connected to her social work background by serving as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Therapy Center of Philadelphia, a community-based mental health non-profit that offers financially accessible, racially equitable, trans affirming services to over 350 women, transgender, and gender non-confirming clients annually.
Jennifer volunteers as a mentor for new family law attorneys through the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Nicholas Cipriani American Inn of Court. Additionally, she has served as a mentor to high school students through the Philadelphia Graduation Coach Campaign and through the Attic Youth Center, which serves LGBTQ+ youth in Philadelphia and the surrounding communities.
As a law student Jennifer received the Ruth Bader Ginsburg “Pursuit of Justice” Award for Legal Writing, and the Henry J. Richardson III Award for best paper on International Human Rights. Throughout the over 15 years since graduating from law school, she has continued to write and lecture on a variety of issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
